Innovations Mini Teach: Classtools.net

No need to sign up for this website, Classtools.net is absolutely free!

Classtools.net allows users to create free educational games, activities and diagrams in a Flash! You can host them on your own blog, website or intranet!  Each template can be saved as a stand-alone HTML file or as a Widget that can be embedded into a blog or wiki - as long as it is non-commercial.

This website can become a very useful tool in a classroom by creating interactive games, or activities for your students. It can become a great resource for creating review games for students; where the games can be done in class if time permitted or linked onto your homepage for students access. Create activities for any subject! Don't be held back by pre-made flash games; create the games that will pertain to the information you want the students to know. This site brings fun interactive learning into any classroom! And don't forget it is FREE!

Now as a class lets show how useful this site really can be. Time to review copyright!

Wow I loved your presentation! I am very sorry that the website didn't work for you guys. My favorite part of the presentation was the website video that showed us how to use this tool in our classrooms. My plan is to go into my intern classroom and use this next week for their spelling test. This will give them a fun way to practice!

To be honest, I missed your presentation. I was stuck cleaning the pizza station at the Cafe West. Sorry about that. I am sure it was awesome!

It was really hard to follow along due to the URL was too hard to see however, I really like the variety of classtools. It can be utilized for many different activities! Nice job.

I liked your presentation since you used an interactive video which did a play by play of how to navigate and use the website.

I love that site and find it very helpful! Would have liked to play some of the games you created but sometimes technology get the best of it!

I like that the tutorial made it sound easy to use, but I think it went a little fast so I'm not sure I will remember how to creat a quiz. I do like that you can use it as a quiz for students. I think I would consider using it my own classroom.

Great ideas for classroom use! My favorite part was the notion of allowing students to create their own games. They would learn so much from doing that themselves. Nice job.
